The Reading Brain Workshop

Did you know that our brains aren't naturally designed for reading? It's true! Kids are actually reshaping their brains as they learn how to read. When you understand how the brain learns to read and the basic skills needed to become a good reader, you'll be more prepared to support your child as they learn to read.

  • Identify the Five Basic Early Literacy Skills

  • Engage in Sample Activities for Each Skill

Attendees of this workshop will walk away with practical tips for putting their new knowledge into practice. Plus, they’ll get two helpful PDF handouts: "The 44 Sounds of English" and the "Say It, Tap It, Map It Template.

  • Remote customized professional development offers an effective and cost-efficient solution for enhancing teachers' skills. The standard fee is $1,500 per day for up to 30 participants.

  • Customized professional development for teachers has varying costs based on daily rate, travel, and materials. The base rate is $2,500 per day. Additional fees may apply for schools over 4 hours from Salt Lake City, UT. On-site travel expenses, including mileage, lodging, airfare, baggage, ground transportation, and parking, are pre-determined.
